With the pedigree behind The Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Hillary Duff, Disney knows how to find the next big superstar.
You might be asking yourself who will be poised to take the reins of the pop kingdom. My bet would be on none other than Poway, California pop-rockers Allstar Weekend. The band cracked into the limelight after being a contestant on Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing.” Even though they finished second to Johnnie and Brookie, they soon signed a contract with Hollywood Records and have been riding the wave to pop super-stardom.
After opening for Selena Gomez and the Scene on her last tour, the band is heading out on the road on their own headlining jaunt supporting their latest album All The Way, which features the huge hit “Blame it on September.”
You can see the next big thing in Seattle at El Corazon on September 21st and in Portland at the Hawthorne Theatre on September 22nd.
